Terms of Use — OgaTailor

The service

OgaTailor helps tailoring and fashion businesses manage customers, measurements, orders, invoices, and related records. Features may work offline on your device; cloud backup, sync, and premium capabilities require an account and, where applicable, a paid plan. We may update, improve, or discontinue features over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Guest mode lets you try the app without registering; guest data may be limited and can be removed as described in our policies. One registered account per person or business workspace unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We may suspend or block accounts that violate these terms or pose a security or abuse risk. That is separate from self-service account deletion, which you can start in the app — see Delete account & data.

Your data & customers

You own the business records you enter (customer names, measurements, orders, and similar content). You are responsible for collecting customer information lawfully — including any notices your clients are owed under Nigerian or local privacy rules. We process that information on your instructions to operate the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy and Data practices pages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
Attempt to break into, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer our systems or other users’ accounts.
Upload malware, spam, or content you do not have the right to store.
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
Resell or sublicense the service without our permission.

Plans & payments

OgaTailor offers a free Starter plan and paid plans — currently Growth (₦1,000/month), Pro (₦2,000/month), and Pro Business (₦5,000/month). Yearly billing may be offered at checkout. Prices, features, and limits are shown in the app and may change with notice where required. Only the business owner may purchase or renew a subscription for a fashion house workspace.

Paid subscriptions are billed through approved payment providers such as Paystack. When a paid period ends without renewal, we may attempt automatic payment retries (typically at 24 and 48 hours after the first failure) before any grace period begins. If renewal still does not succeed, a grace period (currently seven days) applies: you can sign in and view your data, but creating and editing records is paused until you renew. Billing and upgrade screens remain available during grace.

After grace ends without payment, your account moves to Starter limits. Your existing customers, orders, measurements, and invoices remain visible; only new records beyond Starter limits are blocked. Premium features such as cloud sync, export, multi-device access, and advanced reminders are removed until you renew. Renewal restores full access immediately for the plan you pay for.

Pro Business includes team workspace access. If a Pro Business subscription lapses after grace, team members are suspended (not downgraded individually) and lose workspace access until the owner renews. The owner may retain read-only web access with Starter-style create limits until renewal. Team members keep their personal logins but cannot access the fashion house workspace while it is suspended.

Refund requests are handled case-by-case according to applicable law and store or payment-provider policies. Subscriptions and renewals otherwise follow the terms presented at checkout.

Shop currency

Each fashion house workspace operates in one currency (for example Nigerian Naira, US Dollar, or British Pound). You choose that currency in invoice or business settings. OgaTailor does not convert amounts between currencies, and a single workspace does not support multiple currencies at the same time.

You may change your shop currency only while the workspace has no financial records — meaning no payments, refunds, invoices, or priced orders. Once any of those exist, the currency is locked so your history, balances, invoices, and reports stay accurate and are not mixed or rewritten.

If you later need to operate in a different currency, create a separate fashion house workspace (account) for that currency. Existing records in the original workspace remain in the currency they were recorded in. Support may change currency for an empty workspace that still has no financial records; we will not unlock currency for a workspace with financial history as a routine request.

Intellectual property

OgaTailor’s name, logo, app design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not grant you ownership of our platform — only a limited right to use it for your business while your account is in good standing. You grant us a licence to host, back up, and process your content solely to provide the service.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that every measurement, invoice total, or reminder will be error-free. You should verify important figures before relying on them with customers. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use a free plan.

Ending your account

You may stop using the app at any time. Registered tailors can delete their account in Settings → Delete account & data (see the Privacy Policy for the 30-day grace period and what happens to your data). We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes should first be raised with us at hello@ogatailor.app so we can try to resolve them in good faith.
